The Age of Raising Our Ideals (WIP)
In this generation of Mindful Mamas and Dedicated Daddies, we are now nurturing our nature. This is the era of cycle breakers! We follow some rules of thumb, but mostly we follow the beat of our own drums with much enthusiasm. And can you blame us? We were raised by the generation of dreamers, doers, lovers, and fighters. They brought the moon landing to a world still recovering from its second war, introduced hair metal to Elvis, and made analog phone calls to landlines. Theirs was also the generation that couldn't give you a straight answer as to why our boys were in Vietnam, but knew they were deeply upset about all of it because they channeled their disquietude through music and art. So does it surprise you that we now find ourselves living in this new Age of Raising Our Ideals? Before we dive in, let's recognize real: I'm proud of us. I'm proud of you. I'm proud of them.
